Sunday Dinner
Spring has finally arrived and I am excited to start grilling again. I am looking forward to wearing my jessie steele apron while cooking sunday night ribs on the grille!

My Mama Made That!
This is the Junior League's newest cookbook! Here is one of my favorite recipes:
COASTAL CRAB CAKES
2 lb. lump crab meat
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1 cup mayo
2 eggs, beaten
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 yellow pepper, chopped
1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped
3 scallions, finely chopped
salt and pepper to taste
peanut oil for frying
Combine the crab meat, bread crumbs, mayo, eggs, bell peppers, cilantro, scallions, s&p in a bowl and mix well. Shape into 3-inch patties. Heat 1/2 inch peanut oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking. Add the crab cakes and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serves 4
